VARIATIONS

Known Letter:You will be given a correct letter, but you lose a guess.

Random First Word:Your first guess will be made for you.

Shortlist:You will have to choose your first guess from a short list.

Blowup Letter:One letter of the word must never be misplaced.

Banned Vowel:None of your guesses may use this vowel.

Banned 4-Letter Word:You may never type any of these letters.

GAMEPLAY

Guess the word in as few tries as possible.Before each game, you can set the number of guesses in settings.

Each guess must be a valid English word.Press "Enter" to submit your guess, or "Backspace" to adjust it.

Upon submission, your word will be scored to see how close it was.Before each game, you can choose the scoring method in settings.

WORDLE SCORING

There is no C in the word.

There is an E and it is in the correct position.

There is an H, and one S but not two; you should try those letters elsewhere.

2-COLOR HURDLE SCORING

The A in the first column is correct.

The second letter is within three letters of B; try an A, C, D, or E instead.

The third, fourth, and fifth letters are not near O, U, or T, respectively.

3-COLOR HURDLE SCORING

The E at the end of the word is correct.

The second letter is within two letters of P; try an N, O, Q, or R instead.

The fourth letter is within three or four letters of K.

The first and third letters are not near S or O, respectively.
